Recycle Card

Recently back from winter break, and finally back to updating my blog :3 Anyways just yesterday or so, I found some old unused cards which I thought of trying to recreate them into a much more creative, different looking card. Though I'm not sure about the creative part, but the appearance definitely looked different. Well then, here goes how i did it, something simple easy and fun (i'd say).
 Materials:
-Old magazines (something that has colors, even colored instruction papers will do)
-a pair of sissors
-glue stick (or of any kind)
-markers/fineliners
-stickers of some kind

1.
Tear out a piece of magazine page and tear it into small shreds of papers. I didn't cut the magazine because i wanted that rough uneven edge.
2.
Prep your card and teared up prints for gluing next.
3-5.
Start pasting your teared up magazine pieces onto the card. I tried to make sure it wasn't all just one colored or print, so i placed each teared up piece in a way they were not blended. Also overlapping them gives a nice texture-like appearance. (Another way to say is, I'm pretty much making a collage). Don't worry about having any of the pieces sticking out over the edge (As seen in #6). That is where the scissors come into play.
 7-8.
As seen in the picture, after pasting the pieces, turn to the back and snip off the pieces that are sticking out to straight edges of the card.
9-10.
On back of the front of the card, I ripped out a full text page from the magazine and teared it up. Repeating what i did to the front of the card. After just past it down overlapping one another.
 11.
Trimmed off the pieces that stick out to clean straight edges (back to card edge).
12-14.
Lastly, I just stuck a "thank you" sticker onto the front and drew on the inside of the card with colored fine-liners.

And VOILA! its done! :)

All photos taken with my iPod, therefore, they were all bad quality photos. Still came out not bad :)
