Finally Updates HERE!!!

FINALLY!!! Its been ages since I've updated my blog. lol . And so I'll be going back in time few weeks or even months on what has happened and what is happening. hehe. So this blog today will be very very long. Who know, I might just make it short and down to the point, or maybe just cut the words and get straight to the pics. Anyways, I'm finally on summer vacation and back home with the family. So these days, all i do is babysit for my mum and go out here in there with my sisters. Soon will call out some friends and chill, since haven't gone out with them in ages as well. Since, I'm on vacation now, I think I'll have more time to blog, plus a better camera for higher quality pictures :) everyone loves HD, high quality, and awesome pictures. so weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, lets start.

So first off, I just want to do a shout out to all my graduating friends ( Muzi, Emil, Roia, Stephanie, Sawan, Amparou, Amanda, Melissa, Liz, Lola, and many more in which are not in my head at the moment) in my major. CONGRATULATIONS all!!! I'm so proud of you all and happy. Finally, you can say you're done, unless you want to continue then more school for you xD. I want to say I hope the best for you all in the future, and Best of Luck!! Hope you find an awesome job, and pull me in next year when I graduate. Lol xD Or just good luck, now you're finally entering the real world, where you actually do things for a paycheck. No more grades, just working and earning $$bucks$$. Lastly, I miss you all, will miss you all :( I'll miss the complaints we had in class, the lame sewing mistakes we do, and everything we've done! Keep in touch! Love ya all very much!! One last time, Congrats !!!!! woootwoot

Next I'll start off with my fashion show which was on May 27, 2013. The show went well, though it was weird that no one, and i meant, NONE of the designer (students) knew that there was going to be a cat on the stage.... -.-;; Very distracting, though the fashion production professor had mentioned they got a lot of compliments from it. But still, grrrr xD. The theme was "Through the Looking Glass: A Fashion Wonderland". (note: The theme had nothing to do with our designs, it's a theme for the fashion production class purposes. Though the theme does serve as a creative deco on the stage and in the VIP event.) As to my Collection : Abstract Beauty, I wanted to design something very girly and feminine, yet edgy. So, I had chosen pastel-ish colors with a little abstract print to give it that soft and girly + edginess. (repetitive, I know -.-). Not only that, I know they all look so similar, because we our instructor had told us to based it on a block. What I'm not getting from the class i think is exactly how to create a collection in a proper way. I felt we were kind of all over, and not just that, switching professors later made it really confusing. Well Its all done, and all turned out not bad. Hope in the future for better, now that I've learned. Anyways, enough with the blabbbbling, and on with the pictures.

Photoshoots of my models and the garments. (Big thanks to the student photographers with the collab. of these photos. Greatly appreciated. Though missing my group pics ); Would love if I was able to get it. )

As gifts to my models who helped to volunteer, I gave them each mini gifts my sister and I put together. I sewed them these bunny ears scrunchies, inspired by annershine (my be mispelled...), which I liked alot. I used fabrics from my collection to make it. I hope that It will remind them and/or leave them memories of having modeled for my collection.! Big thanks to all my models. They were wondering and awesome!! Thanks so much ;) So I'll be sharing pics of the process...I can't find all of the pictures, so I can't leave a tutorial on how I did it. See Annershine tutorial on youtube for this awesome DIY project, great for gifts.

Bad quality pic of the scrunchie. Just found out I haven't upload the pic (i think) from the digi cam that sis took home...hmm... bad lighting as well.. its night so I got lazy and just used my ipod cam to take this one. lol. still you get the finish item of it..hehe

After the Fashion show, we only had like 2 and a half week to do a Portfolio. So I had done some illustrations, flats, and analysis of target market, etc. But I didn't get to take pictures of portfolio only illustrations. so I'll be sharing those :) For my illustrations, I used watercolor (crayola), with color prismacolor pencils. My watercolor are the cheaper ones, but they worked for me. hehe. Though i will say, water color was so challenging. I've never worked with it before. I've attempt it but always fail. Great thanks to Dr. Kim (my prof.) for teaching us, the students, on illustrating. So away with the picsssss :

So soon after my roomie, Suevia, and I, hung out with our friend Muzi and her mummy, Beth. First we went to the Farmers Market outside of the Mall. Ate and chill. Had alot of fun. And Great big thanks to Beth, for the calligraphy. I loved it and will treasure it. Days later Muzi and her mum, Beth, made lunch for us. Me, Suevia, and Emil we joined with them for lunch. And after we had tea. Beth had the cutest set of tea cups. Also she had black tea made for us. One of china's best and rarest tea. It was great. We talked. After muzi and I looked through magazine and ripped them out for our own lookbook. FUN FUN FUN!! (Excuse bad grammar, seems I'm getting lazy. wow. lol).
