Also the most exciting thing about designing is the result or the completed/final product! Can't wait! Hehe! Well off to bed!

Handmade Mother's Day Card
HAPPY MOTHER's DAY!!!!!!!
Mom, you are the best and I thank you for everything you've done!!!!And thank you for always being there and supporting me even when we're apart!!I love you!!!!-Your Daughter :) PS. I made you a card with my friends!! ^_^
The Hand-made Mother's Day Card!!!:
Yesterday night, my roommate (Suevia) and I went over to her co-worker/friend's (Riccia) place and made some hand-made Mother's Day card. The idea was taken from Martha Stewart. I really enjoyed making this card with the girls!!! It was soooo much fun! Also another thing about the card is, it is a pop-up card, which I find it really cute. Who doesn't like pop-up cards?? Anyways, so I will be sharing the behind the scenes of making the card and the finished card :). Lastly, a big thanks to Riccia and Suevia for this ^____^!!!
Started off the evening shopping for supplies for the card and then ate at Honshu Sushi.

Intuos Small Wacom Tablet Review
This is my personal review on the Intuos Small Wacom Tablet which I'd like to share to those in search for a drawing tablet or what not. I recently just bought this tablet as I was searching to purchase one to draw and paint digitally. Well, knowing that I'm an amateur at art, I've decided to start off something a little more in my budget and something small. Wacom have different line like the Bamboo tablet as well. Eventually I've decided to get the Intuos Small as I've searched and read some other reviews about to it.
The Intuos Small has a simplicity design and is easy to use for beginners. It's small and portable which makes it very convenient. Something added on to that, its light weighted which is a plus. Now a day everyone wants to carry something light weight as you already know laptop are somewhat heavy depending on the built and size, no wonder they've come out with iPads and many other brands of tablets. The really nice thing about the Intuos is you can purchase an additional kit which allows it to be fully wireless. Which I think is pleasant as wires can get a little annoying at times (for those who have a lot of things plugged into your laptop or PC, knows what I mean....). Another thing impressed me was the packaging of the item. It was really well packaged. I mean it looked very neat and nicely put inside the box. Presentation there was great! And so, off with some pictures and more opinions after.

(above photos) The box in which holds the Intuos Small Wacom Tablet.
(above photos) The tablet and the stylus. As you can see, the stylus holder (baby blue tag at top of tablet) can be changed into different colors. Eventually the package comes with a black stylus holder which you can switch it to. And that's quite stylish ;3
(above photos) The stylus is battery-free, which provides a lightweight stylus for the wielder. Also the pen ring (baby blue band on stylus) can be switched to different colors. A black pen ring also came in the package as well as nibs (the tip of the stylus where you write with).
So more about the tablet, not in full detail, as I'll be talking quite a bit
about my opinion. It has four buttons which I haven't quite experience
with but have noticed that you can assign a certain command/shortcut to
it. That also goes for the two buttons on the stylus. The active working
area of the tablet, the silver part, is very nice and smooth.
Therefore, you can draw smoothly on it, as compared to having it have a
bit like rubber, which allows grip and stickiness of the stylus, making
it hard to write/draw. Again, this is my first time ever to experiment with a drawing tablet, so I'm still learning. I've noticed that it however does leave just a bit of light (and i mean very light) marks and some kind of color tearing ( what I mean by that is that when you rest your hands their from drawing too long, you can see color fade ??o.O? xD bad explaination. Well I've only had it recently, though its not showing a lot. I've been using it carefully, as I want it to last me forever. lol. Another thing I've said that is, in the long run, I feel the color will eventually start to fade around the area's your hands rest on, as my laptop is silver and the area where I lay/rest my hands on have faded. or that may be due to amateur drawer who takes too long drawing in one section/area,)...Also its not as if you are air drawing, you're and pressing like you actually do with a pencil and paper, therefore these issues are evident. But those don't bother me now as I'm still getting familiar with it and experimenting more with it.
I'd say overall, Its a very good product to start off with, its affordable and simplistically designed. So far I've been happy about it quite often. Only that lately I've been doing other things. hehe. Anyways, enough with the lame review, and off to bed I go!!!! :)
Enjoy happy arts!!! :3

Potato corner 1st time
Today went to the mall and Daiso with my roomie Suevia. Bought some Daiso items and will blog those tomorrow as right now is late and tomorrow is first day of school for me. Well at the mall we stopped for some potato corner fries. I've got to say I'm impressed. Many style and flavors. My favorite is the chili bbq , even though this is my first lol. Also I'm a huge fan of fries so this was just the right place. Ya I'm late on tasting their potatoes but now I have and I've enjoyed it a lot. More next time I go there again. XD
Late night Practice Sketch Whip
So just today I bought the Intuos Wacom Tablet. I tested it and it doesn't seem so bad. The only bad thing is I'm still new to digital art, and still learning. So today I tested the tablet and so far I like it. :D Though I'll say I need more practice and more learning to do, and i mean alot :3 hehe. Well, done for the night and more another time. Also probably will make a review of the tablet soon. Debating on it though. eeek~! alrighty, off I go, and here unfinished practice whip.
And yep, that is the face of Kakey. Lol xD hahaha~ more improvement needed -.-;;
Also I took a lot of inspiration for this practice of digital painting from others. Just for the learning process, though I quite like it, and would like to thank them.

Late Night sketch&draw
Before I head off to bed, I just finished sketching a character. After, I decided to outline it in photoshop as I haven't done that for a while. Obviously, without a tablet, and being the amateur artist I am, with my mouse and I, it took hours plus doing it, yet , in honesty, wasn't as good as the sloppy sketch version IMO. Anyways, here it is. I'm left with panda eyes now. The next one shall be a panda -.-. hehe
(Left: Done with pen tool in PS (with alterations), Right: hand drawn/sketched out)
For now, I'll probably stick with the tradition drawing until I invest in a tablet. xD I'm quite not satisfy with how the one on the left came out with the use of pen tool. >_< She looks so evil...

Poke a Dot Me
Did an afternoon photoshoot with my roomate Suevia. (visit her page for tons of beautiful styling). Thank you so much for being a great photographer as usual :D Much appreciation go to you. Also the shoot was fun and yet another good experience. I felt like I haven't done this for a while. Though I did only one photoshoot during winter break. Will share those when my little sister send them to me. Anywho off to the shots...Enjoy la~
Just a simple put together outfit and since it wasn't cold, I didn't bother to wear any tights even though we are still in this so call cold weather season. Though it seems the season for this year or even passed years seems to be off track a bit...sigh..
Outfit: Gray with white polka dot/inner lace collar piece/rings(rings from lovely friend Emil): F21, lace up oxford: Ross.

Cute DIY Pin Cushion Jar
Need a great gift idea? Or a project to do? DIY Pin Cushion Jar, which i found it on MakeitLoveit, is a great gift for anyone who loves to sew or anyone in general. A gift made with warm loving thoughts. Again, its not the price of a gift that matters, its the thought put into the gift that matters.
Here my little sister and I did during the winter break together as a preparation gift to our friends. She made some for her friend, while i made some for mine. :)
Here my little sister and I did during the winter break together as a preparation gift to our friends. She made some for her friend, while i made some for mine. :)
(The project/DIY requires no sewing :3)
Materials used (Below, exclude the needles and threads ):
-Jars (center of lid and rims comes apart) (bought from Walmart which comes in a pack of 12)
- a pair of sissor
-felt fabric
-fabric of any prints (bought my fabric from Walmart)
-glue gun
-trimmings/other deco materials
- Polyfill Fibers (used for stuffing)
Jars (there are different sizes, designs, etc..)
Didn't take a lot of photos during the making of it, since it was late during the time i made these. So I'm not really making it into a tut rather just sharing the project and pics. Check out the site I got it from earlier in the post.
So for the pin cushion fabric piece, we used a cd tube case to trade for a nice circle. Circle piece should be big enough for later when stuffing and gluing.(traced on wrong side of the fabric)
Then we just cut out the circles we traced out.
Now preparation for gluing next. Though we seem to forgot to put our polyfill fiber inbetween the inner lid .hehe. Again make sure circle piece of fabric is big enough so you can stuff and glue it .
Glue one side at a time and you get this. :)
After done, you get these cute little pin cushion. Now time to decorate them with trimmings :D
Tada!~ after some little trimmings you get these more adorable pin cushion.
All of the ones i made for me and my Designer friends!! I'm in love with it :)
Lastly, you can put anything inside the jars, from candies to accessories to anything!!! make it fun and enjoyable!! For mine, I just put in some candies so that after them sweets, my friends and I can use it as a pin storage and place our pins there. It's quite helpful in organization too :D sweet~
