No title :/

HNY again. Got more thai tea. With no ice this time. And so they didn't give me boba :/ anyways throat got better but I think I messed it up more by eating good food. Sigh. Well am was wear traditional clothes to new year. Stay there till near closing. Was super cold. Yea ignore the incomplete sentences. Tired and lot of things to prepare. Sigh...

Buffet

After HNY went to A-Star buffet with sisters and bro-n-law. It was great. My first time there. They had so much varieties to choose from. Like I mean a lot! More then what you can ever have( little exaggerated but partially true). They had Asian, American, and Mexican food! Totally recommended. Though because so much to chose from, maybe some quality of food isn't as good as others. ( an example or why I said that because food that customers don't chose to get or eat from are made and left there longer =lower quality in taste, as to those where they need to always be restocking or put own and refilled the ones that are finished). But dessert was great and I was full and bloated. Enough for me ;) satisfy !

HNY

Today went to the HNY (Hmong new year). Was okay not many people but it still fine. Had some papaya salad and awesome boba Thai tea. Even finish my sis's for her too. Such a fatty but can't help xD ok maybe can but won't cause it's too good. :) anyways later got some crew socks and a glass heart container for my awesome roomate as a late Xmas gift. Also because when I saw the glass heart it reminded me of her. She likes putting jewelries in them so I thought she might like it. Plus I haven't gotten her anything for Christmas ;). Hope she likes it , though I have to give her when we both go back home. Lol xD

Home sweet home

Finally home now that finals are done . Anyways short post. Took a while driving but thank god I made it safely and am home. Now with the family And am happy. Anyways tomorrow maybe go watch "The Hobbits" with bro and his girlfriend. He will pay since I'm broke. Lmao. Why not when it's free? Lol yea cheapskate but hey if the bro is willing cant turn down the offer. Well enough of that today got to eat some chex cereal which I haven't eaten in a long long time. Then sis came home and got some chocolate. Sweets !!! Well done for now. Tata ~

Top gear

One of Britain's shows. It's funny in an entertaining way yet interesting in ways you get to learn more about cars ranging from classic vintage to super cars. Just recently the baby got me a bit addicted to the show. It's a must watch and recommended. Anyways short posting since its finals week now. For to study hard. Woot winter break here we come after a week and a day left. Can't wait. Am excited so much. Going home to see the family. Love and miss them so much.

Macaroons

Today went out with roomie and friend to apply for jobs at the mall. I got my first time ever taste of the macaroons. Got the lavender, rose white, and tarismese. Out of the three loved the tarismese. Lavender is okay and rose white tasted like eating a flower. Nasty. Lol but they looked adorable. Heeh. Anyway I took bad pics So they don't look cute here. But don't matter cause I got pictures. Lol

Steamed BBQ pork bun

Didn't get to blog bout yesterday so I will now. Last final done yesterday for so now winter break have officially started. After school went to the Chinese restaurant with my roommate to get some steamed BBQ pork bun. They are really good, though gotta say I miss the baked BBQ pork buns in Chinatown. Those ones are just delicious. But these ones steamed are still really good. Use to get baked ones from the restaurant but they aren't as good as the steamed ones ( at least for this place) . Ratings of the bun 9/10. Love how soft the texture of the steamed bread are. Just unbelievably soft. It almost seems as if it melts when it touches your mouth. Lol. Exaggeration.

Later I watched "sorry saranghaeyo" starring ajoo, haru, and guy... It's not bad. Not what I expected. Doesn't beat "CLTCL" starring Mario and Baifern. I can watch CLTCL hundreds of time and still be touched by the movie but as for "sorry saranghaeyo " maybe not. It's not that touching . Didn't get the feel of the movie. Just personal experience from watching it. Haha. Anyways I'm going to end it short here.

Late night

Just finish part of project. Will continue tomorrow. Am so tired. Hope no rain tomorrow. Been cold a while. Can now say officially winter hehe. Well short post today. Nights all.

Once in a life time to ever get triple 12 date.
Anyways went to intern and it was good today. Also great thanks to Corinne for the. Wonderful lunch. It was delicious and I enjoyed it. She is super awesome! Not because she bought me food but because she is an awesome, great, and talented woman! I admire her hard work and all her designs. Especially her knit sweaters. ;)

And for a long long and once ever I get a picture of my baby. Lame right? Jk . Love you baby! Looking good ;)

Crazy little thing called love

Today and lately I've been watching a lot of Thai movie and lakorn. So addicted to Mario maurer. It's more like an obsession. Lol. Anyways just finish watching "crazy little thing called love" staring Mario maurer and baifern . I love this movie. So touching, that it makes me tear every time I watch it. I'm such an emotional person. Lol. Well 3rd time to see the movie. And eventually that number will continue to increase since I'm so addicted to the movie. Hope one day Mario will come visit the states here in LA. I'd totally go to see him. Well seeing this, inspires me even more and encourages me to continue my future career as a fashion designer, that one day, maybe Mario or other top celebrities may one day be wearing my design. Such big dreams but one day, I hope I'll achieve it if I strive for it. Well it's 1am I should be heading off to bed.
Lastly, I'd like to say that I highly recommend those who have not seen the movie "crazy little thing called love" (or its other names 'first love' or 'a little thing called love') to go watch the movie. Trust me you'll watch it more than once. Hehe. Can't wait to rewatch it on another day. Best of luck and great support to you mario and baifern.

Review on my BB Cream

Today, I'm not doing anything much so I thought I'd finally do a short review on the 2 BB Cream I use. Not only that but lately they've been quite popular in the market as well. Some of them are BB Cream in  Maybeline, Loreal, and etc.

The 2 BB Cream I have are the ones by Dr. Jart. My first one is the silver label which i purchased in K-Town in Beauty Palace (priced at about 38$-45$? I had forgotten. In between there). My second one is a green-ish blue? o.O? from Sephora (priced at 32$ if i remember correctly. lol). I have two because my first one is running out and I'm such a poor student that I had my sister buy me one from Sephora. I like them both though I combine and mix them sometimes due to a little difference.

So, my first BB cream (silver) contains (as shown on cover of product (refer to picture): SPF 35 and whitening . As for my second BB cream it contains SPF 25 and is water fuse.

(I know my skin is darker. lol. But my face is lighter. Wierd i know. lmao)

Each one is good in its own ways like, the silver label one gives more coverage and as the other one its a less coverage since it has water fuse in it. With that being said, the silver label's product is much more thicker compared to the second BB cream. Also the silver label is slightly darker than the other one (which is lighter in color ). Also I noticed that my second BB cream ( greenish blue/ water fuse one) seems to have a little more of the reddish/pinkish tone in it and as well no whitening (which I think because here in CA, not many are wanting to be whiter, instead tanner. x:) That being said, most of the Asian girls, we like the whitening as an additional. Hence the higher SPF on the silver label :) .Another thing is, silver label is much dryer in which is good for those who have oily skin and greenish blue/ water fuse one is more moisture (hence the water fuse) so better for dry skin. (I'm using both because my skin tend to change going from oily to dry or vise versa.)

Lastly, I like them both, and like i said earlier, I sometimes combine and mix them together to get the best of both. Also they not only are foundations to help give you a flawless and clear face, but at the same time it's a acne treatment as well. So its like getting 2-3 in one :)  (in addition, the SPF as well and whitening :) ). What can be better than that :D. Good product, highly recommended. Though you can probably purchase the less expensive one in other brand (like maybeline, loreal, etc.).

Late night update

Yesterday, since now is 1:13am, I went to the Getty museum with muzi. It was so fun and awesome. Took pics and all. Also she brought her awesome super duper good quality camera. Anyways it was for my extra credit assignment paper though we had lots of fun. After we went to eat some Thai BBQ. Good stuff. Haha.
Anyways at school I had some el pollo loco for lunch. It was food. Them salsa is so so so good. Gah.

On Wednesday 10/24 after interning I get to pick two piece of garment off the racks and box from SfRD. Thanks corinne I love the pieces.

Project done

Finally done and turned in.

Class applied top project

Been working on my applied top. So far not bad but not what I wanted. Also messed up little and cut little off by accident. Sigh. Sheer is quite a challenging fabric to work with. Anyways will plan to do something but not the same. Not a big fan of the panels though my design intention was to have more of pleats then panels. Well I'll have to leave it for now. Due tomorrow.

2:49am

Wow I'm up early. Well fell asleep so didn't get to post for yesterday. So I shall do it now. Anyways yesterday (10/19/12) went to Joann and got my rotary cutter. Am happy cause that thing works so good. The thing that sucked was that when I had head to Joann I had forgotten my license and my debit card. So I had to return home and grab my things and go back to Joann. Which was a bit upsetting because I didn't want to be driving back and forth. Then i had gone to walmart next door to it to get some other things. also got myself a small caramel frappe at mcdonalds. it was so good. Well after that I went home and headed off to school to start my cutting and mockup And come back home to do my sewing. Which later today I will be working on the seeing through Monday. Eek. So much going but I'm excited to see the finished result on this. If it doesn't turn out the way I like it I'm probably not going to make another one. Lol.

Internship

Today had my intern from 9:20am-late 5/6pm. It's every Wednesday. Anyways did quite some things. Helped do templates and then cut out piece from patterns.as well as pinning the pieces together and put them on dress form for tomorrow's fitting which I won't be there. Anywho, today at work all I. Ate was a cup of maruchan noodles. Such a poor student. Sigh. I want to eat real good food.lol. I'm gona end it here. And next week for intern I get to shop on the racks which are designed by ms. Grassini. She is an awesome designer!! Well thanks for giving me this great opportunity. I really appreciate it.learning and getting an insight of the fashion industry. Okies off I go.

10/16

School from sun up to sun down. Okie not really. 9.30am-8.45pm. 5hours gap so I decided to work on my class assignment and applied project. But before that I went to BK to grab a little something to eat because I didn't eat all day since morning. Then went to the lab to work on project and all. After had night class. Bleh. CAD isn't the funniest class if taught by a professor who is as well knew to the software as the student. Anyways I stop my yapping. Hehe. Late and got work tomorrow which is today (Wednesday). Sigh. Late night and going to have yo wake up early tomorrow. Also the 2 hours of pain on the freeway to work. ( work meaning internship). Well end it here tonight.

iPod 4

Well today I went to pick up my gift from baby Steve at the post office. Baby sent me an iPod. Even when I told him no. But he wouldn't listen. Not only that it had already came yesterday but I missed the postman carrier. That's why had to go straight to the place. Well I'm excited. My one and first and official apple item. Lol. Thanks baby so much. I really appreciate it. It'll come really handy when I'm at school because I can check emails and do more then just be on my cheap no data plan phone. Also I can finally return my brothers Nintendo 3ds since I don't use it cause the wifi on it is really slow and complicated. Anyways though I was hoping the iPod to have a food quality camera it's okie because I needed something that last longer then my lame phone too. Though sad to say and know that the megapixel on my phone is higher and better than the iPod one itself. Grrr but that don't matter because the apps on the iPod beats the one edit tools on my lame phone. Hehe . :) once and always for all thanks baby for this wonderful gift. I love you tons. Muahs. Also I've just recently received my screen protectors for my iPod and iPhone for the baby but he might get i5. Bleh still it not matter. Will still send baby till he gets new phone. Anyways I've had my iPod silicon cases for a year plus now. Not just one but 5 hello kitty silicon cases in multiple colors.

Sorry for the long lame post. Lastly to end the blog today all I did was experience with the new gift. It was fun. I know others be thinking only ipod4 but who cares. I love it. Okie ending. Pictures later.

Search for Fabric for School Sewing Project

Today went to Fashion District in Los Angeles with Muzi (my friend) to look for fabrics to do my sewing project for class. Went into LA Alex's fabric store and got my fabrics. 4 different and quite similar fabrics. Thanks to Muzi who had helped me decide. :)
After that we went to chinatown, LA. Which is Muzi's first time going there. We both walked around and bought some good bakery at Queen's Bakery and then some food at Lucky Deli. Soon after we returned home. It was a fun and great day I had with my awesome friend Muzi. Hope next time can have some more fun again with her and the FCS family as well. :) Looking forward for that in the near future. hehe .
ALSO today Baby Steven's gift for my belated birthday got here. But i wasn't home so UPS took it. .__.;; So now I will have to go pick it up tomorrow early. SOON i can finally say I finally officially owned an apple item. LOL. wooot. THANKS BABY!!!!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!! I LOVE YOU.

Shopping & outing with family

Today early in the morning family got down here. We went shopping early in downtown, LA and got some fashion/accessories for good deals.

I did as well buy couple of tops. Which I will post pictures of them when I get the time, since it takes forever for me to transfer pictures from cheap-o phone (no data plan) to here (it's a lame process and complicated. trust me).
Anyways, after the shopping, we went to Chinatown, got Queen's bakery (one of the best bakery that i know  :) I'm sure there are more out there but that's just one that I know of. And then bought some BBQ pork buns to go. The best I'd have to say too. It was sooooo YUMMY.
And after all that, home it is. Family went back home and had to stay.. :( got school and work to do here. sigh. Miss them. 

Any who, my next or so blog I'm planning to compare my 2 BB cream products (by Dr Jart) from two different place that I had purchased from, with different label (label as in color of the case). It will be my thoughts and opinion on the two products and my own ratings.

Late update but here it is.

On Friday (09/28/2012), hung out with Suevia and Muzi. Our plan was to go to Joanne's (Fabric/Craft store) to buy fabrics or of any sort to do sewing projects. After, we went to the mall and stopped in Forever21. Suevia came with an awesome idea of buying something from the clearance section and recreate/add-on to(a) garment. we went  crazy searching for garments. And after we took them to try out in the fitting room. we all showed off the garment while trying one after another piece. It was soooooo much FUN and hilarious. haha. But after like 8 pieces plus, we had gone down to 3-4 piece left. We had also gotten all the garments we wanted for a really good deal because all the clearance already had price taken off and plus 50% additional taken away. How AWESOME can it get. :) Everyone loves cheap deals on items that just makes you flatter :]. Anyways we headed to Michaels (craft supplies store) to get studs for my roomie (Suevia) and Muzi. But they had none. So we returned home without doing the projects since we didn't have the studs or other little items to work on the recreate garments.

Considering now midnight near 1am. Yesterday night, I guess I'd consider it that, did some practice on gesture figure drawings and mini drawing/digital. Well results, not bad, and quite an improvement, though by the end of the semester I'm hoping for great improvement. :) Practice Practice Practice makes PERFECT. Right~ I hope. Lol. Anyways posting of the quick more or less 30mins of digital art (in which I have no scanner, therefore, had to take a photo and do it. Which really affected the quality of the picture. Lots of noise when zoomed in, though I've re-sized it. Really need a scanner. Bleh~). Best of luck to me :3
